About Kinship Connect ATL
Our Approach
We meet families in their homes, practice skills with caregivers and children together, and coordinate the services they choose. Our work is grounded in:
- Cognitive-behavioral strategies (CBT) to replace unhelpful patterns with calmer, consistent routines.
- Motivational interviewing to build confidence and motivation for lasting change.
- Wraparound care so housing, food, healthcare, and school supports connect and follow through.
- Trauma-informed, strengths-based practice within families’ cultural context.
We strengthen families through in-home, prevention-based support—so children can remain safe, stable, and loved with kin.
